‘Solar to Meta’ is a duo of artworks that aims to find alternative ways to storytelling and promoting, both by using the theme of GOGBOT ‘From Solarpunk to Metaf*ck’.

Digital marketing is getting more and more popular, but also boring, predictable, and non-interactive. This digital artwork suggests that in the future this can be imporved upon, by mimicking a flyer that does not need to be printed and instead can be viewed on devices such as your phone. This work is meant to display a brief, lighthearted and fun look into the theme of GOGBOT, “From Solarpunk to Metaf*ck”. 

Next to the digital flyer sits a wooden artwork with a similar medium of 2D art shown in a 3D manner while still using the theme of GOGBOT. It was created around the same time as the flyer with the intent to bridge the gap between digital and physical. Allowing one to touch a digital artwork by recreating it on solid materials and telling a story that you can touch and maybe, in due time, be able to construct and arrange yourself!
